Jeremy Barnard, Financial Advisor
Jeremy is a native of Maine, born in Calais and raised in Houlton. As a fourth–generation Mainer, he understands the strong and independent nature of the people of Maine and the specific challenges that living in our great state may present.
He lives in Lisbon Falls with his wife and children and their black Labrador, Pippi. He is a committed father and local businessman and enjoys working backstage in local theater productions, Nerf gun fights with his kids, and hiking and camping in northern Maine.
Maggie Barnard, CEO
Maggie Barnard is the CEO and co-founder of Barnard Financial. A native of Lisbon Falls, Maine, Maggie grew up surrounded by self-employed and spirited, independent businesspeople. After attending university and receiving her BA in Philosophy, she married Jeremy and spent several years working part time and raising their five children. In 2015, she and Jeremy founded Barnard Financial which is a full service, independent, financial advisory firm with a specific focus on education, partnership, and peace of mind.
Maggie believes strongly in the unique and beautiful identity of each person and that a company finds its strength first in the identity of its leadership and employees. She works to create a culture of creativity, positivity, and encouragement where every person can thrive and succeed. She also values the arts, community groups, and social connection and is a volunteer on several boards of directors and is involved in various business groups throughout the Lisbon/Brunswick/Lewiston area.
When she is not in the office researching, writing, or chatting with her team, you can probably find Maggie singing with friends, performing on stage at Lyric Music Theater, or snuggling up with one of her kids.
Felicia McLeod, Administrative Director
Felicia joined the Barnard Financial team in 2019 as Administrative Assistant. Her presence is essential to keep our office functioning smoothly. Felicia provides everything from scheduling to data management, to reminding other team members of appointments and requirements! Outside of the office, Felicia loves music, theater, and spending time with her husband Craig and their two sons.
Kate Madore, Social Media & Marketing
As Marketing and Media Director, Kate grows relationships with business partners and the community, both local and virtual. She has been on the Barnard Financial team since 2017, and her passion is connecting the financial world with people (like herself) who are not naturally finance-minded. In her off-hours, Kate loves music, jiu-jitsu training, and making her home in Lisbon Falls with her husband, Christian, and five children.
